Student Projects
Practical Experience
Theory is essential, but practice is decisive. EUMERGENCIES offers immersive, hands-on experiences designed to develop students’ professional skills and prepare them directly for the job market and European institutions.
- EU Trilogue SimulationÂ
Participate in the simulation of political and technical trilogues. You will step into the shoes of negotiators (Commission, Council, Parliament) working on a concrete legislative proposal related to EU emergency measures.
- Podcast Production
Develop your communication skills by producing podcasts on various forms of EU emergencies. From idea to broadcast, learn how to synthesize and popularize complex subjects.
- Policy Briefs Drafting
Learn how to distil complex analyses into actionable recommendations for policymakers. This is a key skill for any professional working with or for the EU.
- EUMERGENCIES Reading Club
Join in-depth discussions on core readings related to the central themes of the project (crises, emergencies, EU cohesion, and disunity).
- PhD and Early-Career Scholars Workshop
An annual workshop is organized for PhD candidates and early-career researchers focusing specifically on EU (dis)unity in times of emergency. This is a vital platform for presenting your work, exchanging ideas with renowned experts, and expanding your academic network.
